*Jo Jo Dancer aka Dj Hyperactive (CHI)
Born in 1969 on the South Side of Chicago Jojo Dancer is the groove-driven alter ego of a lifelong student of the city’s musical evolution.
Raised on late-70s disco and soul, he witnessed the birth of hip-hop and the rise of Chicago house firsthand.
While his harder-edged alias, DJ Hyperactive, channels raw techno intensity, Jojo Dancer represents the deeper pocket — the swing, the warmth, the funk inside the machine.
Under this name, he blends disco basslines, jackin’ house rhythms, and soulful textures into sets built for sweat-soaked floors and long nights. Jojo Dancer isn’t nostalgia — it’s Chicago groove culture, refined and reborn for today’s dance floor.

Evan Toutz — known to many as ET and now as GenProF — has been a fixture in the electronic music scene for over three decades. As ET, he built a reputation as a respected techno artist, sharing stages and collaborating with some of the industry’s most influential names.
During the Covid era, Evan embraced a creative reset. Long known primarily for techno, he wanted the freedom to express the full spectrum of his musical taste. The result was The Generic Professor (GenProF) — a new persona rooted in versatility and musical storytelling.
Under the GenProF moniker, he weaves together ambient, trip-hop, breaks, house, techno, and drum & bass into dynamic, genre-blurring journeys. Unlike the ET techno persona, he wanted the freedom to express the full spectrum of his musical taste.
The result was the GenProF moniker mixing multiplier genres together from ambient to trip-hop, breaks, house, techno, and drum & bass into dynamic, genre-blurring journeys.
