We’re partying Metairie style (that’s open to your interpretation) for the Krewe of Mad Hatters parade! Mad Hatters rolls at 5pm, and we are located near the start of the route, so we'll probably send someone up earlyish to grab some space and put down some chairs. We live a short walk away from the action, and there is plenty of parking by our house. We’ll open the garage bar at 1 PM for karaoke, day drinking, king cake, play dates and shenanigans. Not sure what time we plan to walk out to the route as a group and abandon the garage, but I’ll update with that info. The more the merrier, so bring a friend or a lover and definitely all the kids you want (as long as they are yours or are allowed to be with you. Please don’t steal anyone’s child to bring to our party.)
Bar is stocked, but bring any specialty items you need or want.
(And, per usual, no need to comment if you are going to a different parade or even a different spot for this parade. We know there’s a lot going on, and this event appeals to a very specific demographic.)
