Myself and my friend Rosie are 13 years old and currently in Year 9 at Risedale School. We are working towards our Duke of Edinburgh Award and as part of this, we are organising an afternoon tea to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Our event will be held on Sunday 28th June at Colburn Village Hall from 2pm–4pm.
Tickets can be purchased from us or from the Colburn village hall during cafe hours.
We have chosen to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support because they do incredible work helping people affected by cancer, providing care, guidance, and support when it is needed most. It is a charity that means a lot to many people, including those in our local community.
We really hope you can support us in raising as much money as possible for such a wonderful cause.
If there are any local businesses that would like to donate a raffle or tombola prize, we would be very grateful, please get in touch. Prizes can be dropped off at Colburn Village Hall or collection can be arranged.
For anyone who can’t attend the afternoon tea, we also have a JustGiving page where you can still donate.

Every little bit of help is truly appreciated.
Please share & invite your friends.
Thank you,
Love,
Olivia Bamber & Rosie Dobson
