CRAFT IT – The Project Shop presents “Machine Sewing for Beginners.” Sessions are running on Tuesday mornings: Tuesday 23rd June 10am–12pm, Tuesday 30th June 10am–12pm, and Tuesday 7th July 10am–12pm, or Friday evenings: Friday 26th June 6–8pm, Friday 3rd July 6–8pm, and Friday 10th July 6–8pm. Please state which group of sessions you would like to attend when booking. During these sessions you will learn to identify basic sewing tools and machine parts, thread and operate a sewing machine independently, sew straight and curved seams, understand and measure seam allowances, finish raw edges to prevent fraying, follow a simple sewing pattern, and complete a beginner-friendly sewing project. All materials are included and refreshments are also available. The cost is £60 per person, with a 50% deposit required on booking to secure a place. Book in store or via email at [email protected].
