School Readiness Workshop Thurs 4/6/26 12.30 to 2.30pm, Newport Family Hub

A 2 hour workshop available to parents and carers of children aged 3 to 5 years.

This interactive session will help the whole family prepare and adjust to school life. Based on the Ready Child, Ready Family, Ready School model, you will explore and discover what it really means to be school ready.

When you are thinking about your child starting school it can raise many questions and feelings for you and your family. These may cause excitement and worry about the milestone ahead.

Questions may be:

• What does getting ready for school actually mean?

• Will my child be physically & emotionally ready for school when the time comes?

• What will I need to do to make sure my child and the family are prepared?

• What resources will my child need for starting school?

The session will answer these questions and more.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accomodate babaies or children at the face-to-face sessions.
