🇺🇸 Playwright Mary A. Byrd (USA) cracks Macbeth wide open in Macbeth Laid Bare and lets Lady Macduff finally speak in Lady Macduff Has Her Say 🗡️🩸
🇲🇲 Honey Htet Eaindray Zaw pens Queen of Nothing, a raw new Lady Macbeth monologue that asks: what did she have to sell to wear the crown? 👑🥀
🎭 🇺🇸 Director Rob Hall – a theatre educator based in Myanmar – is in residence at Imaginarium this June to bring all three pieces to life onstage after directing long distance from Myanmar since April.
PLUS: While she’s here, Mary will lead a writers’ workshop for emerging and experienced creatives who want to turn classic stories into daring new work on June 20th ✍️⚡
Come support international artists-in-residence, made-in-Saigon theatre, and an original Shakespeare trilogy you won’t see anywhere else.
