This is your chance to experience three diverse and talented acts, all for the price of absolutely nothing – yes, it's FREE ENTRY!We're thrilled to have the legendary Nikki Rous as our host and performer. With over 30 years of songwriting experience and a stage history that includes supporting the likes of Jamiroquai and Level 42, Nikki is a true music powerhouse. Though recent health challenges have kept her from the stage, she's incredibly excited to share her passion and her songs with us once more.
Following Nikki, get ready for the fresh sounds of Shrewsbury's own Danny Griffiths. This 19-year-old singer-songwriter blends indie, folk, and country into his tales, drawing inspiration from his recent nine-month backpacking adventure. Expect stories and melodies that will resonate with your wanderlust.
Rounding out the night are the electrifying Lynus. Hailing from the Midlands, this four-piece rock band is here to deliver a powerful performance that'll make their songs "punch your ears in the face!" You might already know them from their tracks on all major streaming platforms.

DANNY GRIFFITHS
I’m a 19 year old, singer songwriter from Shrewsbury, my originals are a mix of indie, folk and country. I’ve been backpacking for the last 9 months which has given me stories and topics to write about.

NIKKI ROUS
Nikki is our weekly host of the songwriters showcase and over the years she has performed alongside, and opened up shows for, artists such as Jamiroquai, Level 42, Supergrass, Miles Hunt, Nick Harper and many more. She has graced the stages of venues and festivals up and down the country such as The Wolves Civic, The Glee Club, The Robin 2, Solfest, Nozstock, Farmer Phils, Sistafest and Sunrise Celebration.
Nikki has been performing and writing songs for over 30 years. Unfortunately, the last couple of years has seen her health and mobility decline due to several health conditions. This has meant that she very rarely performs anymore but she is excited about sharing her music once again at this week's songwriter showcase.
