How does 'LUXE THRIFT SHOP' works?To provide a clear, fair, and efficient process for individuals who wish to consign and sign up their clothing items to our thrift shop for resale.
1. Eligibility to Provide
• Any individual may provide their old/pre-owned clothes for resale to us.
2. Accepted Items
We accept:
• Gently used or new clothing in good, clean, wearable condition
• All sizes (adult only)
• Only dress. (Kameez, Kurtas, Sarees, Lehengas, Etc.)
We do not accept:
• Damaged, stained, or heavily worn items
• Items with strong odors or mold
3. Clothing Intake and Returning Process
-Items must be brought in during designated intake hours:
28th August 2025, Thursday between 2pm till 11:30 pm at ALOKI.
-A staff member will inspect and list all accepted items.
-Provider will receive a copy of the item list, including:
o Item description
o Date received
o Assigned price (see pricing policy below)
o Provider ID
o It will be shared with you via WhatApp
-The provider must take return of their unsold items by the last day of the exhibition (30th August 2025 between 9:30 pm to 11 pm).
-The Provider must let us know the quantity and time by call in prior, they want to come to intake their items/dresses, so that we can book that particular slot timing for them.
4. Pricing Policy
• The individual providing the dress has to bear 300 Taka per dress/item charge for displaying and managing in our stall rack during intake.
• If the particular dress is sold, then the dress provider will get 65% and Luxe Thrift Shop will get 35% of the total sold price.
• There will be no other extra charge.
5. Payout Terms
• Payment of the sold items will be given in cash to the dress provider on the last day of the exhibition during return.
