Bangladesh International Tutorial (BIT) is organising it's first ever Lit and Art Festival in honour and memory of our Founder Principal, Ms. Lubna Choudhury, a distinguished educationist whose vision and legacy continue to inspire generations.Objective:
# To pay tribute to Ms. Lubna Choudhury, her contribution to education in Bangladesh and her love for literature.
# To promote creativity, culture, and intellectual development among students.
# To build bridges among schools through literature and arts
Target Audience:
Students, teachers and parents from:
o Top English and Bangla medium Schools in Dhaka
BIT students and teachers
Group Divisions
Group A – Grades 1 to 4
Group B – Grades 5 to 8
Group C – Grades 9 to 12
Themes for all entries:
Each submission must align with one of the following themes, in both Bangladeshi and Global context:
1. Environment & Climate
2. Current Affairs
3. Society & Culture
Competitions & Categories:
A. Literature Competition Description
Journalism (English, Bangla)
For Group- B & C only
Submit the write up with photography (not mandatory but preferable) an editorial or feature article.
Creative Writing (English, Bangla)
Original short fiction evaluated on creativity, structure, and thematic relevance.
Poetry (English, Bangla)
Group A (Poetry recitation)
Group B & C (Original Poetry composition)
B. Visual Arts Competition Description
Painting
Painting, based on a given topic.
Photography
Submit photo based on a theme. Displayed in the auditorium gallery.
