In 1910 a large fire damaged the Lower Main St area. Fire has threatened Vancouver over and over and in its history. Learn how fires shaped Downtown – and what it took to modernize it after 1910. Bonus – walk through Esther Short Park to learn its history and the backstory of the Pioneer Mother Statue.
