Westminster Music Library welcomes pianist Mai Nakase and singer Nozomi Fukushima for a free lunchtime concert. All are warmly welcome at this performance in a relaxed environment.

Mai Nakase (Piano)
Classical pianist Mai Nakase was born in Mie, Japan and is currently based in London. After graduating from Tokyo College of Music with a Masters degree, she continued her studies in London. She completed her Master of Performance with Distinction at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where she also holds an Artist Diploma. Her studies were supported by scholarships from Rotary International, the Alec Beecheno Bursary Award and the Guildhall School trust. Nakase has performed in prestigious venues across Japan and Europe including at the Steinway Hall Munich in Germany, at the Embassy of Spain in London, and at venues such as the Barbican and Milton Court Concert Hall. She is also a prize winner in several international competitions, including first prize at the Osaka International Music competition.

Nozomi Fukushima (Soprano)
Nozomi Fukushima is a soprano from Japan. She studied classical voice at Tokyo University of the Arts and completed her postgraduate training in Musical Theatre at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London, graduating in 2025. Based in London, she performs actively in concerts across a wide range of genres, including classical and sacred music, jazz, musical theatre, and repertoire from Disney and Studio Ghibli. She has sung both the Japanese and British national anthems at official events held at the Japanese Embassy.
