Lunch with Hangfire's Sam & Shauna: mixing work and pleasure

The Welsh duo behind the restaurant ‘Hang Fire’ have been a couple for 23 years and working together since 2012. Shauna was a social worker and Samantha was a graphic designer, but after falling in love with America's Deep South on a road trip in 2011, they gave their old lives up to pursue their passion for barbecue food, music and travelling.

They'll be talking about the joys, trials and tribulations of mixing work and pleasure, while cooking their signature Welsh/American fusion barbecue food.

Opened in April 2023, Fortnum's Food & Drink Studio is a space dedicated to the search for extraordinary food and drink experiences.
