Fantastic opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament (Palace of Westminster)
This is a 2 1/4 hour visit which involves a tour of the Palace of Westminster and a workshop.
Friday 19th July 2024
The tour starts at 1.25pm and will finish at 3.40pm.
There are only spaces for 36 people, including adults.
This is a FREE event.
We need to get there 15 minutes early so that we can get through security before our tour starts.
The workshop and tour is aimed at ages 5-11, but older siblings are welcome to attend.
The entrance we will be using is: Education Centre, which is in Victoria Tower Gardens.
There are lovely gardens here where you can have lunch before going in for the tour.
This will be an amazing experience for the children (and adults).

Do not just mark yourself as going on the event page.
###POLICY CHANGE###
Due to the chance of people saying they want to go and not showing up on the day, being a free event, we have decided there should be a refundable £2 per person deposit to reserve your spaces.
We cannot take the chance of filling all the places we have been offered and some people not bothering to show up on the day. This would start us off on a bad footing with the team who organise the visits at the Houses of Parliament.
The £2 per person will reserve the spaces and the money will be refunded on the day of the event, when you show up.
This might seem a bit abrupt, but the people who are serious about going will understand why we have chosen to do this.
We want to offer the best trips at the price they are offered to us, but opportunities like this might not come along again, if we mess up our first trip to Parliament.
