Lunch 'n' Learn: Minneapolis Labor Law Updates

Presenters from the Labor Standards Enforcement Division of the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights will cover the three Minneapolis labor ordinances relevant to businesses operating within the city: Sick and Safe Time, Municipal Minimum Wage, and Wage Theft Prevention. We'll discuss the requirements of each (including a brief discussion of the differences between the city SST ordinance and the state ESST statute) and provide examples to illustrate compliance. We'll also discuss some of the common mistakes seen during investigations and offer some best practices.

The training will conclude with Q and A, and is open to Longfellow-area business owners and managers.
