Bryan Wattie from Innovate BC will join us for lunch to speak about the breadth of Innovate BC programs and additional supports for local innovators.

Innovate BC fosters innovation across all regions of B.C.’s ecosystem, advancing opportunities for made-in-B.C. innovations through diverse programs, partnerships and initiatives.

As Innovate BC's Agtech sector specialist, Bryan oversees the BC On-Farm Technology Adoption Program and fosters strong relationships across the Agtech ecosystem in British Columbia. He also leverages his early startup and commercialization experience to deliver the Microgrant Program, supporting growing companies across all industries in BC.

He has held diverse roles in project and product management, as well as business development, spanning consulting firms, Agtech startups, food processors, and public sector organizations.

Bryan holds an M.Sc. and B.Eng. from McGill University in Bioresource Engineering. His education and work experience have focused on computer vision, remote sensing, AI, biomaterials, food processing, and other agricultural technology.
