Ring in the Lunar New Year with a joyful celebration! Members of the Wellington Xiamen Association will host a special tea ceremony demonstration, sharing the artistry, history, and cultural significance of tea from Xiamen, Wellington’s ‘sister city’ and home to some of China’s finest teas. This is a chance to pause, connect, and experience the beauty of tea culture in a welcoming setting. Wander through, listen to stories, and soak up the atmosphere as we mark the beginning of the Year of the Horse.
The Wellington Xiamen Association works to strengthen ties between our two cities through cultural exchange, education, and collaboration.
