Whether rekindling spirits, burning off the blues, stomping it out on the dancefloor, or just enjoying the show - you're in good company. We're happy to have you. 🔥

Lunar Flare always takes place on the third Friday of each month!
== What is "Lunar Flare," anyway? ==
Lunar Flare is monthly recurring, fire-centric collaborative arts event in Central Florida - put on BY fire spinners, FOR fire spinners, and all other like-minded "friends of the flow" - whatever your chosen medium!
FEATURING:
- A professionally facilitated fire circle, with robust safety infrastructure (please see the "FIRE SAFETY & REQUIREMENTS TO SPIN" section below)! 🔥🧯
- A comfortable, turfed courtyard "dance floor" and jam area in front of the DJ stage! Dancing, acro-yoga, spinning daytime / LED props, etc. strongly encouraged - the perfect place for all things NON-fire! ✨
- Live, handpicked local resident DJs on a beautiful outdoor stage, with projected visuals (occasionally with live VJ, too)! 🎧🎶
- Dance & flow-friendly tunes - specifically curated to foster flow! 🌊☯
There are also pool tables and darts inside, if you need a vibe check / sensory reset, or just prefer something more low-key. 🙂

Please read!! If you are not willing to observe these guidelines, you will be asked to leave.
Any form of harassment, discrimination, or unwanted/belligerent behavior will not be tolerated.
This is a shared space that welcomes all walks of life, so long as the same respect is given to those around you.
== PARKING ==
- Parking in front of the pub is preferred - there's plenty to go around! If those spots are all occupied, you'll find plenty of other free, open parking options further up the street, and all around City Hall / Central Park, only a very short walk away from the venue.
!!!! Please AVOID parking at the paved museum parking lot on the corner, next door to the pub (behind the stage). We were recently informed that, while infrequent, cars HAVE been towed from that parking lot in the past. You've been warned!
== Public Perception & Community Representation ==
This is a local business that is allowing us to host Lunar Flare at their public establishment.
Please treat this location, its patrons, and its staff with respect.
Remember that our actions here reflect on our community as a whole.
🔥🔥 FIRE SAFETY & REQUIREMENTS TO SPIN 🔥🔥
** Signing a waiver is __mandatory__ in order to spin fire! **
- All skill levels are welcome to attend - but we ask that you be comfortable with fire in order to participate in the fire circle!
- All fire safety & fire circle rules will be posted at the fuel depot, and where waivers are signed - these will also be explained further upon signing a waiver. Please read them, our rules may very well differ from what you are used to!!
- Spinning fire without a safety ready to spot you, with a fire blanket in hand, is strictly prohibited.
- Want to spin, but can't find a safety? Just ask! We will ALWAYS happily safety for you!
- Never safetied before, or wanna learn how? We'd love to teach you!
- Please make sure to wear reasonably thick and fire-safe clothing; 100% COTTON is always a safe bet, if you're unsure - avoid polyester or synthetic fibers if at all possible! Leave any fancy frills, frays, fluffies, and feathers safe at home, far away from fire!
- If your outfit is not fire-safe, you may not be allowed to spin fire.
- If anything else is unclear, just ask! We're very friendly, and always happy to help!
== Alcohol, Substance Usage, & Responsible Fire Spinning ==
- This is a drug-free environment, and this event takes place at a PUBLIC establishment that serves alcohol - please exercise decorum and common sense.
- Outside alcoholic beverages are STRICTLY prohibited.
- We ask that you drink AND spin responsibly - if you are visibly intoxicated while spinning fire, you may lose your privilege to spin fire for the evening. (please don't make us do that!)
== Leave No Trace ==
- Leave it better than you found it!
- Please respect the venue allowing us to organize this event - pick up all trash you generate, and dispose of it in the many nearby garbage cans, or take it with you.
- If you're unsure where to find a trash can, please don't hesitate to ask.
- A communal effort to help keep things clean is key to fostering a lasting relationship with the venue, and creating a positive perception of our community.
== BYOP (Bring Your Own Props) ==
- While many are willing to share their props, it is your responsibility to bring your own props to spin.
- LED and fire props can be very expensive - if it's not yours, please don't touch it!
- People are well within their right to say "no" if they do not wish to let you spin their props.
- If you don't have one of your own, have any questions, or are interested in where you can purchase one of your own, please reach out to any of the event organizers (Patrick, Tali, or Angi), or ask any of the (very friendly) Lunar Flare regulars - any one of us can help point you in the right direction!
