Lunacy is the tale of the human obsession with the moon, a connection that began millennia ago and thrives today with Artemis. Our desire to see humans on the moon has recruited the noble, the not-so-noble, the rich, the inventive and even the conspiratorial. We are all part of Lunacy. Two showtime options available:
11:30AM OR 2:30PM (Purchase your tickets at link provided!)
Jay Ingram has hosted two national science shows, Quirks and Quarks and Daily Planet, has written 21 books and is a recipient of the Order of Canada.
Trevor Day (vocals, guitar) sings and plays rhythm guitar. He is a Professor of Physiology at Mount Royal University in Calgary, and studies responses to high altitude ascent. He is excited to go even higher, to the moon and beyond, with Jay and the Lunatics!
Ben Jackson (drums) has lived a life immersed in music. He has been playing drums on stage and in the studio for over 30 years, and is currently found keeping time in his favourite band of Lunatics!
Josip Vulic (bass, vocals) loves to perform music on stage, especially when it involves communicating science stories with his friends. Playing bass and partaking in some yodelling is his thing.
Warren Tse (keyboards) is a veteran multi-instrumentalist and music producer. Among other things, he has worked with Jann Arden and written music for the Calgary Stampede Evening Grandstand Show. Warren is also the organist for the Calgary Flames, and the producer and one half of the Juno-nominated duo, Ginger Beef.
Steve Dodd (guitar, vocals) is a composer for tv and documentaries with 30 years of stage and recording experience. Currently Steve has about 1,500 music compositions on hundreds of tv shows worldwide.
