A call to arms! A call to arms! ... or at least a call to the games. Come, join Raven's Cry Grove as we celebrate the many-skilled God, Lugh. Known as Samildanach ("Skilled in All the Arts") and Lugh Lamhfhada ("Lugh of the Long Arm," Lugh is honored at the first harvest. The first harvest is the harvest of grain. The sun is still high in the sky but the light has begun to fade. We will honor the old tradition of games of luck, skill, and bravery.
Join us at Malibu Creek State Park in the Group Camp area on Sunday, August 2, 2026, with a 3:30PM arrival time and a 4PM start time. Please note that Malibu Creek charges a $12 parking fee, so plan to carpool! Please plan to bring a chair, if you need to sit.
We suggest a $15 donation for attendance, but none will be turned away for inability to pay. A potluck will follow the ritual, so feel free to bring a dish to share! Can't wait to see you and your kin at the skillful one's event!
