Creating Meaningful Work Experience Opportunities for Young People in Stockport

Join us for a unique event designed, planned and delivered by young people from across Stockport who are passionate about improving access to work experience and volunteering opportunities.

Hosted by Navendu Mishra, who will be present throughout the event, young people will share their experiences, research and recommendations on the barriers they face when trying to access meaningful opportunities that help them develop skills, build confidence and prepare for their futures.

We are inviting local businesses, employers, voluntary organisations, community groups, councillors, decision-makers and anyone in a position to influence or provide opportunities for young people to attend. This is a chance to hear directly from young people, understand the challenges they encounter, and explore how we can work together to create more accessible, inclusive and impactful opportunities across Stockport.

Whether you can offer work experience, volunteering, mentoring, workplace visits or simply want to better understand the needs of young people in our community, we would love to welcome you.
