Stockroom Social with Dave Sedgwick and Amrit Randhawa
About this Event
As part of the Marvel from Marple exhibition programme we are hosting a Stockroom social focused on Stockport influence design.
Creative Programme Manager Gwen Riley-Jones will be leading a conversation with Dave Sedgwick and Amrit Randhawa on how their research into Stockport's local history and archives inspired their work with Stockroom.
Dave Sedgwick (Studio DBD)
StudioDBD is a Manchester-based design studio founded by creative director Dave Sedgwick, known for bold, thoughtful design across arts, culture, charities and startups.
Dave was also the creator of Stockroom’s visual and brand identity.
Amrit Randhawa (Taxi Cab)
Amrit Randhawa runs Taxi Cab Industries, a graphic design and art practice
Amrit was inspired by Alan Boysons carpark screen and ceramic tiles to develope the Marvel from Marple exhibition design
There will also be an opportunity to connect with other people from Stockport and make your own badge to take away
