Low Flying Crow are a collective of experienced quality musicians all with the common aim of giving audiences a unique experience. Low Flying Crow are well known for playing commercial songs that you wouldn’t very often hear played live. The band is currently made up of five members.
Derk Gallagher, Lead Singer. Derk is an amazing singer and frontman, he is just a ball of energy. Trust us when we say, you will not see a better vocalist in any band anywhere! Derk has fronted some incredible touring bands and has worked as a session singer recording with the likes of Russell Gillbrook (Uriah Heep) Lee Kerslake (Ozzy Osbourne). Derk was even approached to be the singer in Iron Maiden.
Ade Carter, Bass Guitar & Vocals. Ade's an amazing and extremely experienced bass player & singer. Ade is as solid as they come and a real talent, he is the ultimate musician, disciplined tasteful and versatile. There isn’t anything Ade can’t play, he like the rest of the band has a wealth of experience at all levels. His vocals are impeccable and seem to have no limitations, providing those high harmonies which are the icing on the Low Flying Crow cake.
John Rodgers, Lead Guitar. John is an incredible guitarist and can literally play anything! His experience as a professional touring guitarist really shows, his attention to detail is amazing. John has played at a high pro level for decades and is the perfect fit for Low Flying Crow, we are very lucky to have him in the band.
Brian Saville, Keyboards & Vocals. A true one off! Brian is what you could describe is uber talented and is Low Flying Crows MD. Brian has played in every single scenario you can think of and is a professional music teacher. There is a saying “those who can, do, those who can’t teach” well this isn’t the case with Brian he is just amazing, his musical knowledge is vast & Bri's vocals are pitch perfect.
Karl Smalley, Drums & Vocals. A hugely experienced musician having played with a myriad of bands on every level, from working local bands to international touring shows, Karl has worked with various artists including Tony Martin (Black Sabbath), Carl Sentence (Krokus & Nazareth), Mike d’Abo (Manfred Man). Along with Ade, Karl provides the solid foundation for the band, one reviewer commented “it’s like watching a machine”.
