LoveBrum Causes Conference 2026
About this Event
LoveBrum's Causes conference is back for 2026 to inform and empower charities across Birmingham to take their mission to the next level. Whether that be understanding the latest changes to charity governance through to telling an effective story about your cause.
With LoveBrum’s service patrons and corporate members being some of the most recognised and influential in Birmingham, we want to share that knowledge with charitable organisations across the city.
During the event we will host 20-minute bitesize sessions covering the latest updates to cause compliance and governance, storytelling, fundraising, social media, marketing and top tips how to best utilise AI to supercharge your cause. There will also be opportunity to network over coffee and lunch with other causes doing incredible work across Birmingham. Together, by coming together we can raise awareness about some of the most vulnerable individuals across our communities and work to establish connections to benefit those who need it most.
Sessions will include:-
- Storytelling for Fundraisers

Info: Using AI can feel a bit hit and miss. Sometimes you get exactly what you need, and other times the answer is generic, unhelpful or just plain wrong. Often, the difference is in how you ask.
This practical, beginner-friendly session will break down what a prompt actually is and show you how to give AI the right context and instructions to get more useful results. We’ll work through simple examples relevant to small charities, with prompts you can adapt and try yourself.
We’ll also cover a few important things to keep in mind when using AI, including what information you shouldn’t share and why you should always sense-check what comes back.
