Love the City is a free community outreach event created to support and serve families across the Raleigh area through practical FREE resources, community partnerships, volunteer-led care initiatives, and purchase from local businesses.
This event is designed to bring together volunteers, educators, nonprofits, local businesses, and community organizations to provide accessible support and encouragement for individuals and families before the start of the school year.
Community resources and activities may include:
• Free haircuts
• School supplies & backpacks
• Hygiene and care kits
• Teacher appreciation gift cards & giveaways
• Family activities & inflatables
• Local businesses, vendors, and community organizations
• Food, snacks, and refreshments
• Volunteer service opportunities
Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where families can connect with helpful resources, support local organizations and businesses, and experience the strength of community working together to serve Raleigh.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
