For the first time in nearly a decade, the Love Love crew will be returning to the sunny shire of Colchester, Essex, where it all began back in 2004, mangling a smorgasbord of genres together for an optimum dance experience and maximum vibes at Roots & Groove.
Joining us on the night will be Ryan Jordan, AKA Zero Point Energy, a long time friend of the label since its inception. Often performing with his signature hallucinogenic live strobe sets, this time he will instead be will be closing the night with a vinyl set of extra rude drum’n’bass and breaks, mixed with some select avant garde cuts from his decades of performing as the head honcho of the international noise=noise collective.
A stalwart on the local scene, Chelle is known for her slick selections of hip hop, jazz, funk & soul. A proper DJ. She’ll be laying down slabs of bass and breaks with plenty of wonk and groove.
Love Love bosses Sam Fez and DJ Warhammer 40k are bringing the braindance! Expect everything from bouncing electro to ripping jungle & hardcore and anything in between, including outright classics as well as phresh dubplates.
Sound for the evening comes from Rewired Audio, the same crew behind our infamous Cambridge Arms nights 20 years ago - but this time around the sound system is even bigger and better!
