Love Is Film Festival Weekend Pass

The Love Is Film Festival is a new, annual pop-up film festival taking place from 24th – 26th April 2026 across multiple spaces at Urban HQ. The festival explores love as a complex, universal and deeply human experience, using cinema to create connection, conversation and shared emotional experiences.

The festival pass gives you access to the main programme of activities* across three days, including 6 feature films, 2 short film programmes, local spotlight, reception party and networking.

Info: Starring Rhys Ifans and a pre-James Bond Daniel Craig. The festival starts with a bang...well, a very slow hot air ballon disaster. This story of misplaced affection is written by novelist Ian McEwan and directed by Roger Michell of Notting Hill fame, though is far away from a rom-com.

Info: Well known actor and local to Swansea Sion Tudor Owen has turned his attention to writing, producing, directing and acting in his own films, and so we present the short film trilogy Dark Tales from Wales.
