Louise Goffin: Back Home

Louise Goffin is a singer-songwriter and recording artist whose work is rooted in craft, instinct, and a deep relationship to the studio. Her independent body of work reflects a life spent writing, producing, and shaping songs from the inside out, guided by a clear point of view and a commitment to artistic self-direction.

Her recordings have taken her through iconic spaces including Sunset Sound, Royal Studios, Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, and Abbey Road Studios, and into international workshops and performances, including leading songwriting sessions in Buenos Aires.

She founded the Goffin & King Foundation, a creative platform where songwriters gather in historic studios and meaningful locations for focused collaboration, built on the belief that great artists are born out of environments where they are given both freedom and support, and the songs that emerge shape identities.

Her songwriting is grounded in lived experience and emotional clarity, with a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. She draws from the highest level of songwriting. Her parents, Gerry Goffin and Carole King, helped define a generation of music, and she carries that same emotional clarity into her own distinct voice and style, with melodic instincts that feel both timeless and in step with today’s musical landscape.
