Louis Roederer Champagne Tasting
About this Event
As part of its exciting wine programme for 2026, The Lanesborough in London presents a wine tasting event with Louis Roederer, hosted by The Lanesborough's Head Sommelier, Jules Coppier and Louis Roederer Brand Manager, Jitka Auermüllerová.
Champagne Louis Roederer was established in 1776 and is now led by the seventh generation of the family, Frédéric Rouzaud. Renowned for its commitment to sustainability, exceptional quality, and pioneering approach to both viticulture and winemaking, the House has been named The World's Most Admired Champagne Brand by Drinks International for seven consecutive years.
Every Louis Roederer vintage originates exclusively from the House's own vines, a rarity in Champagne. The estate covers 250 hectares across 420 vineyard plots, located exclusively in the Grands and Premiers Crus of the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs. Since 2000, the House has followed a philosophy of environmentally respectful viticulture, drawing on the principles of regenerative and biodynamic viticulture as well as permaculture, making it the largest organic vineyard estate in Champagne, with 135 hectares certified. This deep dedication to terroir and craftsmanship, sustained for 250 years, has established Louis Roederer as one of Champagne's great independent, family-owned Houses.
Guests are invited to enjoy a relaxed tasting of four Louis Roederer cuvées alongside fellow Champagne enthusiasts, each served with a canapé pairing.
The tasting will feature:
- Louis Roederer Collection 246
- Louis Roederer Brut Vintage 2018
- Louis Roederer Rosé Vintage 2017
- Louis Roederer Cristal 2016
