LOTP 🌅 Sunset Beach Edition 2026 🌅

☀️ It’s summer in Boston so we return to one of our favorite summer traditions—the LOTP Sunset Beach Edition! 🏖️ You are invited to join us for an unforgettable evening of community, dancing, delicious food by the ocean breeze and breathtaking sunset at one of the most gorgeous beaches in New England, Wingaersheek Beach. 🌅
📅 Date: Sunday, July 12, 2026
⏰ Time: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
📍 Wingaersheek Beach, Gloucester, MA
🌅 Wingaersheek is truly magical in the evening. After 5 PM, parking is free and available on-site, the crowds disappear, and we’re treated to one of the most beautiful sunsets on the North Shore. 🌅
We’ll gather for a relaxed beach picnic, enjoy great food, connect with friends old and new, and dance as the sun sets over the water, on the top of the rock, as we love to do. 🌅 We will play a delicious mix of Zouk/Lambada/Bachata/Kizomba to dance by the water. 🌊
Please, bring your dinner with you and if you’d like to share some snacks and drinks with others you can do that as well. And as a post-beach tradition, we will hit the favorite local ice cream store for the most delicious ice cream treat. 🍦
A few things to know:
✨ Free parking starts at 5 PM - park closer to the right side of the parking lot
✨ Beach closes promptly at 9 PM, and everyone must leave by then
✨ Mosquitoes can appear after dark, so bug spray is recommended
