This is a fascinating walk discovering the many lost pubs in the Old Town.
About this Event

Meet at History House, 21 Courthouse Street - booking is essential as numbers limited.

In the late 19th century there were 80-90 licensed premises in the Old Town and three breweries.

Today there is a fraction of that number. This walk shows where some of them were, what they looked like and the reasons behind the closures. The walk lasts around 1.5 hours and includes some steps and inclines.
