Loose Florals Watercolour Workshop at Breezy Knees, Sat 25th April, 10-1pm

Overview:

We will be painting bluebells in this Spring floral workshop. This watercolour workshop runs from 10am to 1pm and is suitable for you whether you have some experience of watercolour and would like to explore new techniques, or are a total beginner. Minimal drawing required! The emphasis of the workshop is very much on play and experimentation. After a time to explore and have a play with colour and techniques, you’ll be guided step by step to create two atmospheric paintings. You'll explore some fantastic and fun techniques (masking fluid, salt and spatter) as well as practising more traditional washes and wet on wet painting.
What to Bring:

All materials are provided and included in the price so you just need to bring yourself; an apron and something to take your lovely painting(s) home with you would also be useful.
Your Tutor:

Ione is a landscape artist and tutor with over 30 years' teaching experience. Her aim in her teaching is twofold: for you to feel supported to develop confidence and skill in using the wonderful medium of watercolour; for you to have fun and spend an enjoyable, restorative time playing with colour.

This workshop will take place in the Breezy Teas cafe building (wheelchair accessible), where your group will have exclusive use of the space under Ione's instruction. All materials, as well as tea and coffee provided. All you need is some enthusiasm!

nB. The gardens will be closed at this time (as they open annually on the 1st May).
