Back by popular demand! In this four week course, learn professional acting techniques in a straightforward, practical way. For the curious and the advancing.This unique course is designed to demystify the fundamental tools used in professional acting, to allow actors of all levels to advance their practice.
In a group setting, we will look at the foundations of acting, and understand the relevance of the professional approach.
We will discuss and experience each tool in its own right, to understand its place and how to use it. With this understanding, we will apply them to a text, practically working together to put the theory into practice, and on to the stage.
This course is aimed at anyone who is interested in developing their acting skills; whether you are new to acting, amateur,
advancing in your professional career. In a straightforward, practical way.
When: 29 March / 12 April / 26 April/ 3 May, Sundays, 9.30am - 12.30pm
Venue: Friargate Theatre, York
Cost: £30 per session (3h), £110 for the course (12h)
