Calling all adventurous 10-16 year olds! Wild Ones is our group for older girls to be inspired, challenged and enjoy the freedom of nature.
Run by qualified forest school practitioners, Christine & Ellen, Wild Ones offers a mix of nature crafts, conservation action, bushcraft skills and outdoor activities to promote and build girls confidence, resilience and wellbeing.
This is an opportunity for girls to learn new skills and meet new people in a friendly atmosphere.
Activities will include a range of things such as lighting fires, using woodworking tools and exploring nature in a safe, natural space. Also a chance to chat and just 'be'.
Snacks will be provided, often cooked on the fire by the young people themselves.
By signing up to a block, the aim is that the same group will get to know one another and not just develop new skills, but also may become friends.

These sessions are partly funded by the North Yorkshire Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner to help the girls build skills to keep themselves safe.
We ask for a small donation to cover the cost refreshments during the session – however this is not compulsory and you should get in touch if you'd like to attend by cannot afford the £21 for the block of sessions (Christine - [email protected])
