Ten years ago, a small group of Harrisburg artists and dreamers asked a hard question: where are our stories on our region's stages? Out of that question, Sankofa African American Theatre Company was born. On Saturday, June 20, 2026 — Juneteenth weekend — we're celebrating a decade of African American storytelling. We're calling it Looking Back, Reaching Forward, and we want you in the room.
