You are invited to the 3rd annual Longmont Water Fair on June 14th from 11am-2pm at Dickens Farm Nature Area. This year features a new theme and new hands-on activities that show what happens to water after it goes down the drain. This FREE event mixes science, art, and learning to help you follow water on its journey. Play at learning stations, create art on life-size maps, enjoy live performances, talk with local water experts, spend time at the water, and complete a Water Passport to earn fun prizes. Gain a greater sense of community and knowledge about how Colorado water is shared, and take home simple ways to protect our water for the future. We can’t wait to see you there!
Te invitamos a la 3.ª Feria Anual del Agua de Longmont, que se celebrará el 14 de junio de 11:00 a. m. a 2:00 p. m. en el Área Natural Dickens Farm. Este año presentamos una nueva temática y nuevas actividades prácticas que muestran qué sucede con el agua después de que se va por el desagüe. Este evento GRATUITO combina ciencia, arte y aprendizaje para ayudarte a seguir el recorrido del agua. Juega en las estaciones de aprendizaje, crea arte en mapas de tamaño real, disfruta de presentaciones en vivo, habla con expertos locales en agua, pasa tiempo en el agua y completa un Pasaporte del Agua para ganar divertidos premios. Desarrolla un mayor sentido de comunidad y aprende sobre cómo se comparte el agua en Colorado, y aprende maneras sencillas de protegerla para el futuro. ¡Te esperamos!
