The soloist of the evening is pianist Bruce Liu, winner of the 2021 Chopin Competition. The concert pairs Beethoven’s dramatic Piano Concerto No. 3 with Bruckner’s Ninth Symphony, the composer’s final, monumental and spiritually charged work.
