Londonski simfonični orkester, ustanovljen leta 1904, slovi po tehnični odličnosti, širokem repertoarju in bogati mednarodni dejavnosti. Pod vodstvom sira Antonia Pappana bo orkester izvedel Mahlerjevo Simfonijo št. 2, »Vstajenje«, delo, ki odpira vprašanja življenja, smrti in smisla ter združuje liričnost, dramatičnost in vizionarnost preloma stoletja. Solistični vlogi prevzemata Maria Bengtsson in Noa Beinart, pridružuje pa se tudi Državni zbor iz Kaunasa.

Founded in 1904, the London Symphony Orchestra is renowned for its technical precision, stylistic breadth and extensive international presence. Under the direction of Sir Antonio Pappano, the orchestra will present Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, “Resurrection,” a work that explores themes of life, death and transcendence through lyrical intimacy and dramatic power. Soloists Maria Bengtsson and Noa Beinart join the performance alongside the Kaunas State Choir.
