London Rookie Rollers is coming February 2025!Are you curious about roller derby?
Have you ever fancied yourself as a fast and fearless derby skater? Want to be part of an inclusive and dynamic team sport?
The first (of 2) taster sessions will be on 23rd February. The second taster session will be on 2nd March. Both will be between 10am-12, at our home ground in Tottenham Green Pools and Fitness. You can sign up for either session, or both. They will be identical.
Then the course will start from the 9th March with the final session being 18th May. There will be no session on 20th April as it's a bank holiday.
If you've never skated before, don't worry! Our programme welcomes skaters of all levels, and we can teach you how to skate from scratch, plus all the beginner skills needed. We guarantee you will never have so much fun falling over!
Be prepared to get fit (without even realising you're doing it) and make heaps of friends!
Our programme welcomes all gender identities and is open to Skaters age 18+. 12 weeks in length, inclusive of the 2 Taster sessions.
Taster sessions are £8 each and the remaining sessions are priced at £80 for all 10 or £50 for each set of 5 (these are purchased via bank transfer, details to follow) Accessible payment plans are available on, request.
We do have some kit to loan, but it's only a few bits, so if you are able, please do try getting some kit ready for your derby journey to begin!
*You will need a mouth guard. We will not supply these*
Hockey mouthguards are just fine, a little bulky, but do the job, or you can look for Sisu mouthguards, which most folks use. Not as cheap but a little more comfortable.
