Loire wines & French cheese
About this Event
Discover France's longest wine region, from the Atlantic Ocean to Pouilly-Fumé.
Have you ever wondered why wines from the Loire can taste so incredibly different? What makes a Muscadet so fresh and saline, a Sauvignon Blanc from Pouilly-Fumé so mineral, or a Loire sparkling wine so elegant?
If you enjoy discovering the stories behind the wines in your glass, then this special workshop is for you!
In this wine workshop, we will travel along the Loire River, exploring how climate, grape varieties and terroir shape one of France's most diverse wine regions. Together, we will taste five carefully selected wines, including sparkling, white and rosé, paired with a selection of French cheeses chosen to complement each wine.
This tasting will be hosted by Anaïs, together with Bénédicte Moche (Vignerons & Patrimoine), who represents several of the independent Loire producers whose wines are imported directly by Pépites. Throughout the evening, we'll discover not only the wines themselves, but also the people behind them, their vineyards and the philosophy that guides their work.
Whether you're already familiar with the Loire or discovering it for the first time, you'll leave with a deeper understanding of this fascinating wine region, and perhaps a few new favourites.
Your ticket includes:
