In this comprehensive workshop, you'll learn to recognise and utilise a location's challenges or advantages to create stunning portraits. Key topics covered include:
- Choosing a Location: Learn to select environments that complement and enhance your subject, making the most of the natural surroundings.
- Seeing the Light: Understand how to read and utilise natural light, as well as artificial light sources, to create the desired mood and effect in your portraits.
- Positioning and Posing: Master the art of positioning and posing your subjects within the chosen location to achieve the most flattering and dynamic compositions.
- Modifying the Light: Discover techniques for modifying light, including the use of reflectors, diffusers, and other tools to shape and control lighting to suit your subject.
- Working with People: Gain skills in directing and interacting with your subjects to bring out their best expressions and emotions, creating more engaging and authentic portraits.
