Local Food, Community Health & Public Policy

This public forum examines the intersection of local food, public health and local policies in light of the upcoming 2028 Solano County General Plan update.

Speakers include Dr. Sarah Jones, primary care physician and lifestyle medicine specialist with Kaiser Permanente and others to be announced.

NOTE: This will be a HYBRID ZOOM meeting. Locally-sourced refreshments will be provided for those who attend in person.

The Solano Local Food System Alliance includes a wide variety of stakeholders committed to fulfilling the mission of creating an environmentally sustainable, economically viable, socially just and equitable local food system in Solano County. Alliance members represent various organizations and agencies that work within the local food system. Public educational forums are held on topics relevant to the local food system.
