20th Annual Lost Boats of Mare Island Memorial

Join Myrna Hayes, President, Mare Island Heritage Trust and Larry Maggini, Co-founders and Hosts of our 20th anniversary Lost Boats of Mare Island Memorial Dockside on the shores of the Napa River Mare Island Strait, Sunday afternoon, November 8, 1:30-3:00pm for our service of history, music and remembrance to honor the 7 submarines built at Mare Island and lost at sea during WWII. 569 men are still serving “On Eternal Patrol” aboard these vessels located somewhere in the depths of the Pacific Ocean, their final resting place known only to God.
