Local Author Lauren Domagas

Local author Lauren Domagas will be in store Saturday, September 26th from 1-4PM! She'll be promoting her collection of stories "Songs for Mahalia," which explores the uncertain journey of coming of age, the inextricable ties between daughterhood and motherhood, and the lasting effect of heartbreak, despite love’s fleeting nature. Through the lens of young adulthood and Filipino heritage, it takes the reader on the long road towards self-identity, meeting powerfully vocal characters along the way and finding themselves transported into summer-struck scenes.
