In-person radiology event organised by LMVP Telemedicine discussing the evolving landscape of Radiology; from early detection to targeted treatment.

Eight lectures from outstanding radiologists, LMVP doctors and keynote speaker from MSKCC.

Learning Outcomes:

- Recognise the most recent trends in treatment and diagnosis.

- Outline normal and abnormal development on fetal MRI

- Evaluate the current clinical applications of artificial intelligence in musculoskeletal imaging, including its impact on diagnostic accuracy, reporting efficiency, and workflow across MRI, CT, and radiography

- Recognise the role of interventional radiologist in identifying fragility fractures

- Understand the emerging role of Whole Body MRI

- Understand and appreciate the latest scoring systems – MOCART 2.0. and PI-RADS

- Identify emerging opportunities for radiologists in biomarker-driven oncology

Host: Dr Ivana Pogledic

Info: Holds an MD and PhD in neuroscience, along with the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) and the European Diploma in Neuroradiology (EDiNR) and holds medical licenses as consultant radiologist in Ireland, Austria and Croatia. She worked at the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-guided Therapy, AKH Hospital and Medical University of Vienna, Austria.

Info: A consultant radiologist at Royal Marsden Hospital with 15 years of experience in Whole Body MRI and special interest in metastatic prostate cancer, clinical trials imaging and advanced ovarian cancer.

Info: Associate Professor in Radiology and Honorary Consultant Radiologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, University of Cambridge. He is the Clinical Lead for urogenital radiology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge and the Imaging Lead for East Anglia Cancer Alliance. His research interests center on novel MRI techniques for identifying and characterising prostate tumors.

Host: Dr Lawrence Schwartz

Info: Keynote Speaker. A Chair of the Department of Radiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), he oversees a team of radiologists renowned for their expertise in oncologic imaging across all disease areas and all diagnostic and therapeutic imaging modalities. He is internationally recognized for the innovative application of new technology in imaging to improve both clinical care and drug discovery.

Info: A fellowship trained Consultant Musculoskeletal radiologist with expertise in all aspects of diagnostic and image-guided treatments for orthopaedic, sports, rheumatological and spine conditions. He regularly lectures and teaches internationally in his field, is the chief viva examiner for the European diploma in musculoskeletal radiology and nominated vice-chair of the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology Education committee.
