About our readers:
Jason Kerzinski is a poet, photographer, and journalist who just moved back to New Orleans after a year hiatus.
Maria Griener is a professional gardener and basket weaver. She was a food writer in the aughts.
Jennie Lightweis-Goff is a lyric essayist, literary scholar, and flaneur. She is the author of three hybrid works of scholarship and memoir: Blood at the Root (from SUNY Press), Captive City (from UPenn Press) and Porgy's Cart (from LSU Press). Her creative nonfiction has appeared in The Point, Liberties, Dorothy Parker's Ashes, and the most recent LMNL Anthology. She writes about grief, sex, addiction, and precarious labor at her Substack, The Butcher's Darling.
Ed Ruzicka has published four full-length books of poetry, most recently "In the Wind", by Sligo Creek Publishing. Ed’s poems have appeared in the Atlanta Review, the Chicago Literary Review, Rattle, Canary and many others. A number of his poems have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. Ed is also president of the Poetry Society of Louisiana. Ed lives quietly under the green of live oak trees in Baton Rouge with his wife, Renee.
