LIZZIE the Musical

Inspired by the true story of Lizzie Borden, Lizzie: The Musical is a powerful punk-rock Opera retelling of one of America's most notorious unsolved murder cases.
In the sweltering August of 1892, Lizzie Borden is accused of brutally murdering her father and stepmother with an axe. Although she was acquitted, the mystery surrounding the murders has endured for more than a century.
Driven by a fierce all-female rock score, the musical explores the events leading up to the murders through the perspectives of Lizzie, her sister Emma, the family maid Bridget, and family friend Alice. As secrets are revealed, the story delves into themes of oppression, abuse, family loyalty, freedom, and the search for justice. Blending historical fact with speculation, Lizzie imagines what may have driven a young woman to become one of history's most controversial figures.
Part gothic thriller, part rock concert, and part feminist reimagining, Lizzie delivers a gripping and emotionally charged theatrical experience that asks the question: What really happened in the Borden house that August morning?
Come see for yourselves!
Please note that there are themes of violence, foul language and mature themes. Parental discretion is advised.
