Join us for an afternoon with Dr. Alveda C. King, daughter of civil rights activist A.D. King, niece of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, and Chair of American Dream at the America First Policy Institute. Dr. King will discuss faith, family, civil rights legacy, and the principles that sustain the American dream.
This is an opportunity to hear from a leader with deep roots in the civil rights movement and a contemporary voice in national policy and media. This event will also serve as a final GET OUT THE VOTE for local candidates in the Kansas region.
The event is organized by the Kansas Black Republican Council, the Kansas Federation of Republican Women, the Republican National Hispanic Assembly of Kansas, and the Northwest Johnson County Republicans.
REMINDERS
1) Sponsor pre-ception guests: Please arrive by 12:15 PM for check-in.
2) Dream Keeper sponsors will be invited to a private small-group meet-and-greet before the pre-ception.
