John McLaren is a former award-winning violinist turned self-taught guitarist who has electrified audiences with his unique percussive guitar style and alternate tunings. Blending traditional and modern fingerpicking, his original compositions have racked up hundreds of thousands of views online and wowed live crowds across North America. He’s shared the stage with global touring acts such as Jesse Roper, Gareth Pearson, Petunia and ECMA winners Campbell & Johnson. His debut single, “The Pathless Path,” premiered on the prestigious Candyrat Records’ YouTube channel back in 2020. Since then, he has released multiple singles and two albums over the past six years. His second album, "Part II," was nominated for Recording of the Year at the 2025 PRIX MNB Awards. Two-time Grammy nominated jazz artist Raul Midón hailed his playing as “Awesome!” and “Cool!”
Vicki Brittle is a Canadian Folk/Rock Singer-Songwriter from The Ottawa Valley. Brittle is known for her distinct, unforgettable vocals that weave through reflective lyricism and catchy melodies. Accompanied by a six string, she is often referred to as an "old soul", bringing a memorable energy and presence to the stage. Brittle has recently released her 2nd Full Length Album "The Hardest Things" in August 2025, landing playlists like Folk & Friends, New Music Friday, Highway One and many others. Brittle has opened for acts such as Sass Jordan, Adam Gontier, Logan Staats, Jeff Martin, Jon Bryant and many more. With over 6 million online streams, an Album of The Year nomination, International Songwriting Competition Finalist, and playing festivals like Bluesfest, Festival of Small Halls, Breadmakr Calgary, The Victoria Listening Room, Folk Music Canada and many more, Brittle has become one to watch.
