Living Life to the Full Train the Trainer
About this Event
The Living Life to the Full (LLTTF) program is a licensed practical, self-help mental health course based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) principles designed to help people manage stress, low mood, and everyday life challenges.
Developed by Professor Chris Wiliams and licensed by Five Areas Ltd. It is delivered over six 1.5 to 2 hour sessions. It is for anyone who wishes to improve their confidence and ability to make the most of their life.
Subjects covered are:
- Understanding feelings: Spotting why we feel bad, anxious, or down.
- Practical problem solving: Learning simple techniques like "how to fix almost everything".
- Behavioral changes: Doing things that make you feel better and breaking unhelpful habits.
- Cognitive shifts: Looking at situations differently and challenging unhelpful thoughts.
- Confidence building: Developing inner resilience, coping with stress, and improving sleep
We are looking for experienced trainers in the mental wellbeing arena who can deliver this course on a regular basis.
You must be attached to a not for profit organisation in the VCSE or public sectors.
Trainers will also be expected to participate in our regular community of practice. After the course you will receive a certificate, a license to deliver and the opportunity for your organisation (if VCSE) to apply for grant funding.
Marie, your trainer, will also organise a time to attend one of your LLTTF sessions.
