About the Artists
Mads Tolling is a two-time Grammy Award-winning violinist whose artistry has taken him around the world. As a former member of Turtle Island Quartet and Stanley Clarke's band, Mads has shared the stage with jazz legends like Chick Corea, Kenny Barron, and Paquito D'Rivera. He's now performing with Bob Weir & Wolf Bros and continues to push the boundaries of what the violin can do.
Tony Lindsay brings decades of soul and energy to every performance. After 25 years as the lead vocalist for Santana—earning 11 Grammy Awards along the way—Tony has become a beloved Bay Area fixture. You might catch him singing the national anthem at Warriors and Giants games, but tonight he's here to celebrate music with some dear musical friends.
John R. Burr is one of the most sought-after pianists in the Bay Area, known for his versatility and creative spirit. He's toured extensively with Maria Muldaur and The Alison Brown Quartet, and when he and Mads released their album Ramblin' on Blue Coast Records, they showcased their gift for reimagining songs from across the musical spectrum.
Dan Feiszli is an incredible bassist who's joining this special group for the very first time tonight.
What makes this evening truly magical is that Mads, Tony, and John are coming together for only the third time ever—and for the first time, they're welcoming Dan into this rare and beautiful collaboration. This is a night you won't want to miss.
